This is Gee Bee R2 imported by Flair in the UK. I crashed the model in the first flight. The most likely problem was a high speed stall, caused by me having to much movement in the elevator, and using it, in a turn. The model survived pretty well, as you can see from the pictures. I sold the wreckage on ebay, hopefully the model has flown again since. I fitted all Futaba gear and an OS 52 Surpass, the kit only requiring a OS 26 Surpass.
I bought the kit from a UK model shop but the instructions were in Chinese, I think. I eventually had to get the English instructions faxed over from Jamara Modell in Germany, who are the European distributers, Flair being the UK distributers. I have added the instructions as the last seven images.
